The Doctors of Letters  (DLITT)  gown is a full scarlet robe available in polyester or wool.

It has bell-shaped sleeves, and the body is made from scarlet cloth with facings and sleeves of grey silk or art silk.

Please note this gown should not be worn with the hood.

The Doctors of Letters  (DLITT) hood is made from scarlet cloth either in polyester or wool lined with grey satin in the Oxford full shape.

This hood is usually worn with the Convocation habit and undress gown.
